Explanation

The Jallianwala Bagh massacre is also known as the Amritsar massacre.

It occurred on 13 April 1919 in Amritsar, Punjab, India.

General Reginald Dyer's order led to the killing of at least 379 people and injury of over 1,200 others.

Today, Jallianwala Bagh is managed by the Jallianwala Bagh National Memorial Trust and underwent renovation from 2019 to 2021.
