Let the ages of the father and son be M and N years respectively

Given,

⇒ M = 3N + 3 ….(1)

⇒ (M + 3) = 10 + 2(N + 3)

Subtracting equation (1) from (2),

⇒ 3N + 3 – 2N = 13
