Zakat and Usher Ordinance Question:

In Pakistan, the system of compulsory collection and distribution of Zakat and Ushr began in 1980 with an ordinance decreed by General Muhammad Zia-ul-Haq 

All members of Zakat and Usher Councils & Committees are Muslim

District Zakat and Usher committee was constituted under section 14

According to section 16(7) of Zakat and Usher Ordinance 1980, the Chairman and members of the District Zakat and Usher committee shall hold office for a term of 3 years

Sheep grazing fed free in pastures are exempted from Zakat according to the Zakat and Usher Ordinance
