The national anthem was first played in front of Raza Shah Rahalvi of Iran

National Anthem was written by Hafeez Jalandhari in 1952 

the music was produced by Ahmad G. Chagla in 1949.

It was officially adopted as Pakistan's national anthem on 13 August 1954.
