This level refers to the learners’ understanding of the ideas and materials presented at the first level.
At this stage, they won’t necessarily be able to see the full implications of their knowledge or be able to relate it to other material.
Bloom's taxonomy has the following six levels:

2. Understanding
3. Applying
4. Analyzing
5. Evaluating
